World Class Youth Sports Training. All Ages, All Levels

Every child has a chance...

Give your child the chance to bring out the best athlete that he/she has inside. Our trainers can help unlock potential in every type of athlete at every level.

Age Levels
Athletes are separated into three different training groups:
Youth (ages 8-11)
Junior (ages 12-14)
Senior (ages 15-18)*
Youth program sessions are 1 hour in length, junior & senior sessions are 90 minutes.
*-Collegiate athletes may also be included. Call for details.

Youth sessions have a maximum of 6 athletes per class, up to 8 athletes are allowed in the junior and senior level classes. These class limits allow our coaches to work with multiple athletes but still
provide individualized and detailed instruction.

Goals
The goal of the World Class Sports Performance Program is to improve an athlete’s overall athleticism and decrease an athlete’s risk of injury. The program improves all of the physical qualities that are essential to high level sports performance: coordination, linear and lateral speed, agility (the ability to change directions), footwork, balance, strength, power (explosiveness), flexibility, and sport specific conditioning.

Session Structure
Each session is separated into three segments:
An active dynamic movement prep period, movement, & strength and power. Each one of these segments has a different objective
.

Active Dynamic Movement Preparation:
In simpler terms, the first one-third period of every session serves as the warm up. Our warm ups utilize movements designed to increase dynamic (movement based) flexibility, activate muscles, and enhance balance, speed, agility, strength and power.

Movement:
The movement portion is comprised of speed, agility, and conditioning drills. Athletes continually rotate through four different focus areas or sessions types, described in detail below:
Acceleration & Multidirectional Sessions: Trains an athlete’s first step quickness and speed from 0 to approximately 20 yards as well as their ability to decelerate and change directions.
Multidirectional Sessions: Trains an athlete’s ability to use a wide variety of movements to move in any direction, their ability to change directions quickly and efficiently, as well as their footwork and balance.
Plyometrics & Multidirectional Sessions: Utilizes jumping exercises to improve an athlete’s explosiveness and also incorporates footwork and change of direction drills.
Linear Sessions: Designed to improve an athlete’s linear running mechanics. This includes an athlete’s ability to accelerate as well as improve their maximum velocity (top speed) running mechanics.

Strength and Power:

The final one third of each session is spent in our strength power area. Each session provides a total body workout that focuses on standing, free weight exercises, and large movements such as jumping, squatting, lunging, pushing, and pulling; movements that would be performed in athletics. Special attention is given to working an athlete’s core (the muscles from knees to shoulders) and posterior chain (the linkage of muscles on the backside of the body) as both are important in developing speed and athleticism and are typically underdeveloped in many athletes. Prehabilitation, or injury prevention exercises are also included in each athlete’s program and are assigned based on their injury history and joints and muscles typically injured in the sport(s) they play.
